I watched Lance Stephenson play for Cinci in college this year and believe me he was mediocre at best. But last night in Orlando playing for the Pacers who selected him after the Knicks passed—he was beyond belief–going 8-11 from the field with 5 assists. If this continues the Garden faithful will never let the Knicks forget.
Anxiously awaiting Greivis’ first game.
Lance Stephenson has had a decent year for Cincy but he announced today that he is not ready for the NBA and will return for his sophomore season.
When you shoot 35% from the field, go 2-14 from the 3 point line and shoot 17-31 from the foul line, rest assured you will not win the game. Bowie, Hayes, Mosley , and Greivis had the looks but could not convert. There is no panic, it’s just 1 game, and the good thing about this tournament is that a win tomorrow night will shake this game from our minds. Greivis though finishing with 19 points just is not sharp … Read More »
Well the matchup we have all been waiting for is finally here. Cincinnati and Lance Stephenson will be the next opponent for the Terps Tuesday night at 7PM on the deuce. Sean Mosley tied a career high tonight with 19 points. Greivis again had a subpar night but the Terps are still winning and believe me Greivis’ offense will come around. Eric Hayes added a dozen and Landon scored 10 as the Terps found their game midway through the first … Read More »
Each time I watch Lance’s high school teammate, I keep saying to myself can this guy be this good? James has great inside moves, his strength belies his size but his ability to continue moving without the ball will be what James will be remembered by. The continued improvement of Steve Goins and the development of Jordan Williams will be the key factors in the effect Padgett will have as a Freshman. Again, I anxiously await next Tuesday night.

The irony of ironies. Should Maryland defeat Chaminade in the first round and Cincy defeat Vanderbilt, on Tuesday night Nov 24 at 7PM the Terrapins will take on Lance Stephenson and the Bearcats. Perhaps Sean Mosley and Landon will alternate guarding Born Ready. Enough said!!!!
It’s finally over. Good luck Born Ready. Check out zagsblog.com

Lance Stephenson could have been the toast of the Baltimore / DC area. He will soon be nothing but a faded memory on our minds. I will never understand why he didn’t commit a few weeks back after Kansas made it clear he wasnt wanted as a Jayhawk. Here is hoping that Born Ready and his posse find what they are looking for. I promise these are my final words on Lance!!!!
