I still believe the Orioles will try to strike a deal with Reynolds. He is a team guy and loves playing for Buck.

In his last 15 innings as an oriloes, Koji  gave up 0 runs with 2 walks, and 30 Ks. Yet Jim Palmer said last night Tommy Hunter was a tremendous upgrade? How can you upgrade those stats.

Mark Reynolds line last night —3-5 with 5 RBI (60) and 1 HR (24)  I guess every move our GM made wasn’t bad.

Reynolds now has 18 Homers and 46 RBI. Buck leave him in cleanup position and bench Vlad already!!!!

Don’t blame this one on Kevin Gregg. I can’t blame him for destroying the sunflower seed collection. A big leaguer has to catch that fly ball in the 9th. Not only did he miss it but he bumbled it into a triple. Who was the official scorer? That ball was in his glove. Tampa made the defensive plays to stay in the game –the O’s didn’t. Reynolds’ 10 HRs and 60 RBI project to a season of 27 HRs  and 86 RBI. For that I can live with a .199 BA. The O’s are now 29-31.

Mark Reynolds went deep today. His 1-4 performance moved his average up to .180.

For all of those non believers out there, the O’s are now .500 (13-13) again.Markakis and Reynolds went deep and Zach Britton gets the win.

It was a sight to behold. Vlady, Reynolds, on and on contributing clutch hits to move the O’s to 5-1 5 1/2 games ahead of the 0-6 Red Sox–You just have to love it!!!! Koji “Nothing But Strikes” Uehara came into the game in the 9th inning threw nothing but strikes–1,2,3 game over.

Buck you will never be on equal footing with your opponents. But I do believe you can make the difference or at least I want to believe that.
