Can you imagine at one point Virginia led Johns Hopkins 17-5. Hopkins defense was non existent as Glading, Steele Stanwyk, and Shamel Bratton pummeled Hopkins goalie Mike Gvozden. Duke won 12-11 and will now play Syracuse on Saturday. Virginia will play Cornell. Look for UVA and Syracuse to advance with Virginia exacting revenge on Cuse in the final and winning the Championship.

It seemed like the offense looked more cohesive early on without Yeatman. I wonder what Dave Cottle thought and how will he bring Will back into the lineup Tuesday.

Maryland vs Hopkins is big no matter what year it has been played. But this year is a little different. In the past 2 years Hopkins came into the Maryland game desperately needing a win. In 2007, the Bluejays won 5-4 in overtime which triggered a run to their 2nd NCAA championship team in 3 years. Last year, Hopkins win started their run to the championship game.
