If Rajan Rondo keeps hitting the 15 ft jumper, there is no way anyone can beat the Celtics. Danny Ainge who was seriously questioned when he traded Kendrick Perkins might have upgraded the depth of this team enough to win a title. Jermaine O’Neal is healthy, Jeff Allen spots in well, Big Baby gets better each game. Ray Allen and paul Pierce are incredible down the wire. KG is KG.

The composition of the NBA is about to change. LeBron, Paul Pierce, Chris Bosh, Amare Stoudemire and on are all free agents but the first domino to fall should be LeBron, Doc Rivers returns to Celtics. The Zen Master is undecided. Avery Johnson is Coach of the Nets. Byron Scott is taking over Cleveland.
Paul Pierce — WOW–money player. There is almost no one in the NBA in crunch time better then Pierce. Well, except Kobe that is!!!–If the Lakers get past Phoenix—the Celts will be no match for them. But I will wait for the analysis after LA wins. Phoenix hosts the Celtices tonight and for some idiotic reason if LA wins the series doesn’t start until next Thursday. David Stern is shooting for a July 4th finish.
Paul Pierce and Ray Allen combined for 47 as the Celtics led virtually the entire game and won fairly easily. The Celts go up 1-0 in the best of seven series.

Anyone who even plays golf casually must wonder, how can Tiger continue to make crucial shot after crucial shot. His tenacity, confidence, air of invincibility maybe even exceeds MJ. However, it’s time to shut it down for at least a couple of months for a proper healing process. Tiger should skip the British Open to ready himself for the PGA and the one Achilles heel to his repertoire, the Ryder Cup.

In an incredible turn of events, Gus Gilchrist, Maryland’s heralded 2008 recruit asked for and was granted a release from Maryland on Tuesday. Though it is not certain, Gilchrist desires to play outside of the ACC in order to avoid the extra semester transfer penalty that was thrust upon him due to the transfer from Virginia Tech, another ACC school.
