The Sunpapers has reported that Shannon wants to come to Maryland but had to return to Miami on personal business. CLOSE THE DEAL.  Randy is the choice. His history as a DC is incredible and his ties to Miami high school football are unparalleled

Pressboxonline.com reports tonight that Randy Shannon could be close to becoming the Terrapin Defensive Coordinator.  Though Randy was dismissed from the U, there is no doubt he was a tremendous recruiter in the Miami area. He would be a TREMENDOUS addition to Randy Edsall’s staff. UCLA offered the DC position to Shannon but Shannon deferred his decision to talk to the Terps. More tomorrow night on Terp Talk.

Wisconsin 20 Miami 14 in the Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando. This was supposed to be an easy win for the U, but Wisconsin dominated from wire to wire. Coach Randy Shannon must improve the Offense. The Terrapins travel to the U next year. I won’t miss that one.
