– Sander Beck allowed just two hits in six scoreless innings, Tomo Delp blasted a three-run homer in a five-run third inning and Maryland beat Bucknell 8-3 Wednesday evening.

The Terps (19-12) improved to 16-3 in non-conference games, including a 9-1 mark at home, with a familiar formula of pitching, defense and a balanced offensive attack.

Alfredo Rodriguez went 4-for-4 with two RBIs, while Kyle Convissar and K.J. Hockaday had two hits apiece.

I happened to attend the Maryland Delaware Game at Shipley Field Sunday afternoon–for about 15 minutes. It was absolutely freezing and my hands stung when the balls were hit.
