Certainly to be named one of the 10 best Collegiate players in America is quite an honor and for that we congratulate Greivis. But in truth the kid deserved clearly to be 1st Team.  John Wall might turn out to be the best NBA player of the field but he certainly was not more instrumental in his team’s success … Read More »

I can’t wait to see the energy bump in the entire team with the return of Dino Gregory. The Terps could actually have 2 bigs in the game at the same time with Dino  and Jordan.

Greivis is not the first Senior to start a season slow.  But believe me Ryan, Senor Vasquez will show up eventually. think back over the great games he has had at Maryland. With the new talent spread on this team , he must stop … Read More »

Some observations of a Big TIme Game in Downtown DC:

Sean Mosley was beyond incredible tonight, unleashing an outside shooting performance for the Terps that rivals any in memory. sean was 11-14 from the field with 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block and 2 steals. Mr Baltimore is the real deal!!!!

Jordan Williams scored 19 points and had 12 rebounds against one of the best teams in College basketball. He is rapidly learning the college game. Remember this was only … Read More »

Nova opens up hitting btheir first 3 threes    9-3 Nova—-

Jay Wright said it best–that Gary seems to have his team prepared early maybe better thenn anyone in the country. The problem is how does Maryland slow down the Nova guards. Only be dominating the boards. Everyone must rebound on Sunday. Control the boards, Greivis has a big game, Eric hits 2 or 3 long range 3s–Maryland can win. I can’t wait for this one. Also this is the last game the Terps play without Dino.

Maryland size wise matches up against Nova.  The Wildcat’s guards are Scottie Reynolds 6’2″, Corey Fisher 6’1″ and Corey Stokes 6’5″.  They have a freshman g 6-1 Maalik Wayns and freshman g Dominic Cheek who is 6-6.  Upfront freshman Isaiah Armwood is 6-7, Antonio Pena is about 6-8 and he’s their best rebounder, Tylor King, a transfer from Duke is 6’6″ and Maurice Sutton is a freshman who is 6-11.  In general Maryland’s guards are bigger though Nova’s guards are much … Read More »

3. Maryland: The Terps had a very good season, but will be better with some bulk and talent inside. Greivis Vasquez is one of the best guards in the country, but his emotional play seems to get more press than his skills. Vasquez is a complete player whom I believe is underrated. Add James Padgett and Jordan Williams to returnees Dino Gregory and Jerome Burney, and Maryland is not playing shorthanded in the paint this year. And no team … Read More »
