I am never one to hide my emotions so I have to admit to being upset today having to watch the few UVA fans in attendance celebrate victory in our house. The Hoos were not hit nearly as hard by graduation as the Terps were last year and the depth and experience eventualy wore Maryland down. Steele Stanwick was the difference today with 3 goals and 5 assists.
Maryland after getting off to a slow start actually led the game … Read More »
My take—A lot of the Terps still have a sick feeling from the loss to UVA in the title game. I will say it–the Cavs were LUCKY that Colin Briggs committed a violation large enough to be suspended for the Semi final game against Denver. He had fresh legs –no one else on the field did–to his credit Briggs scored 5 goals and the rest is history.

Call it sour grapes, call it whatever you want , I am still sick over the way the Terrapins were robbed of a season making victory today at #1 UVA. The Cavaliers are now a tainted 11-0. Yeatman , and Travis Reed each scored twice giving the Terps a 9-6 lead with 6 minutes left. But then lightning struck as UVA scored 3 times in 1 minute to tie the game and also have a 2 man advantage for a … Read More »
ACC supremacy is on the line when No. 9 Maryland travels to Charlottesville, Va., to battle No. 1 Virginia Saturday afternoon at Klöckner Stadium. The Terps clinch the regular season conference title and the top seed in the ACC tournament with a victory.
But more important the Terps must produce a big win for its own psyche. The Terps have not lived up to its preseason #3 rankining. Maryland’s attack has taken a hard hit when compared to UVA’s combo … Read More »
