One of the great guys of baseball is—was David Ortiz. Now, he is relegated to Arod and Manny status.Too bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will he get booed in Baltimore this weekend?

Red Sox Nation invaded Camden Yards last night and Oriole fans present were forced to suffer through a shutout loss to Lester who moves to 8-0 vs Baltimore.  JD Drew was a double short of the cycle for Boston and the only Oriole highlight in a dismal effort was a home run stealing catch by Adam Jones.

          In a 4 hour 50 minute epic, the American League, down to their last player, outlasted the National League when Justin Morneau barely scored on a sac fly by Michael Young.  Both teams squandered opportunities in the late innings.  With the win the AL gains home field advantage in the World Series.  JD Drew of the Red Sox was named MVP.  Terry Francona used George Sherrill as a last resort, but the Orioles stopper came throughpitching … Read More »
