I just have a great feeling about this year’s squad. Trailing 5-1 in the 5th the Terps tied it up on a 3 Run HR by Tim Kiene. The Bruins scored in the bottom of the inning and held on for a 6-5 win. Last night the Terps scored 2 in the 9th and Jimmy Reed struck out the side to preserve a 2-1 victory before a stunned UCLA crowd.

The University of Maryland baseball team’s 2010 recruiting class has been ranked as the 25th best in the nation by Baseball America. Head coach Erik Bakich, recruiting coordinator Dan Burton and pitching coach Sean Kenny, who are entering their second season at Maryland, signed 22 newcomers to their first recruiting class.
