Listen, if the Harrisons decide on Maryland, the Terps will have achieved their greatest recruiting moment in its basketball history. Bino and Turgeon have been relentless, daring to be great, wanting to bring in the 2 kids who can possibly bring a another National Tile to Maryland. They have fought the great fight against Calipari and the Kentucky machine.

Tick… tock…tick…tock —Remember 5PM on the U Thursday. Terp Talk will follow at 6PM with instant analysis of the decision.

i’ve said the get go that the twins would commit to md. that said it wouldn’t be a big surprise if they went to….smu. yes, smu. they are going to college for probably one year and then it’s off to the nba. who better to learn from for one year than basketball’s best teacher, larry brown.

If they are one and done , then we are better off without them. What possible star guard 3-4 year recruit will sign to Md knowing that they will not play their first year.
Better off with a 3/4 year recruit for the program.

to Mricklen. if they sign with maryland it opens the eyes of a lot of top players to md. no one who is a 4 or 5 star will sign to play behind them but more 4 and 5’s will look at md more seriously in the future. and if they come and are 80% as good as expected with the team they will have around them md could go very far in the tournament which helps recruiting for ’14 and beyond.

All bad signs. Harrison’s dad thinks enough of Turgeon to give him the bad news in person before the decision is announced. That’s why they moved up the announcement — the kids decided on Kentucky, so no reason to go to Maryland Madness and then stick it in Turg’s face a day later by picking UK. Let’s hope it ain’t so.
