Sometime early in the game, I remarked that we were actually in better shape when the Steelers had the ball. Down the stretch, Leftwich actually threw a few perfect passes but the Steelers were unabe to hold to hold on due to vicious hits from Pollard and Co.
#5 turned in a Trent Dilferesque type performance only producing 3 points on offense but committing 0 turnovers. Jacoby Jones actually secured the victory with a 63 yard punt return. The castoff from Houston has turned out to be one of the key players in purple.
I find it incredible that this team is 8-2 and 3-2 on the road. With each win I gain more respect for Coach Harbaugh. The defense which has taken tons of criticism actually looked the best it has all year though any positive feelings have to be tempered with considering the absence of Big Ben. Paul Kruger easily has his best game as a Raven tonight providing constant pressure on Leftwich. Corey Graham excelled at he corner gathering a key interception.
Though it was not a pretty game any victory at Heinz Field (and this is our 3rd in a row) must be savored. Now the Ravens face the ultimate trap game against the woeful san Diego Chargers next Sunday. the busses are already backing up at the West Wing in LA to take some of the thousands of West Coast Ravens fans to San Diego for the game.

don’t criticize flacco. ravens couldn’t run the ball and your boy torrey never got open. none of the ravens could find open space.
