Terps Hold On to 76-69 Win Over a Strong Stony Brook Squad
Friday Night at College Park

Friday Night at College Park

At 18 minutes to go in the game the Terps were up 20 and playing their best game of the year. But then Stony Brook started to get really physical and Maryland did not respond well. From that point on the Terps were outscored 33-20 and had to make 4 clutch free throws to preserve the win.

Some key stats:
The Terps shot 9-18 from the 3 point line led by Seth Allen at 3-4.
With several NBA scouts looking on Alex Len went 8-14 for 19 points and 9 bounds.
Dez Wells also tallied 19 points and kept a missed Alex Len free throw alive resulting in a Len dunk at a key juncture in the game.
Stony Brook lost the rebound battle 34-31. Kudos to them.
Attendance 10,721 very few students
I thought Faust contines to improve with every outing. Only 5 points tonight but 5 assists with but 1 turnover.
Jake Layman 4 minutes 0 points 2 rebounds.
