COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Big Ten Conference announced the Maryland men’s basketball team’s home and away conference games for the 2016-17 season
The Terps are scheduled to host 2016 NCAA Tournament qualifiers Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State and Purdue at XFINITY Center, in addition to Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio State and Rutgers.
Additionally, the Terps will have road games against Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers and Wisconsin.
Under Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon, the Terps have thrived in their first two seasons as members of the Big Ten Conference, earning a pair of top-3 finishes and compiling a 26-10 (.722) conference record. Turgeon’s teams boast a 17-1 home record in conference play, including a perfect 9-0 mark in its inaugural season (2014-15). He was named the 2015 Big Ten Coach of the Year
