Lonzo Ball Named NBA Summer League MVP though he sat out the title game. Kyle Kuzma scored 30 points for the Lakers. Big story for me–Jake layman had a super game 5-7 from the 3 point line and 21 points overall. I will be shocked if he isn’t in the rotation this year for Portland.
O’s win 3-1. Chris Tillman threw 6 strong innings allowing 1 run on 2 hits and 4 walks. Brach got in trouble in the 9th but got the save. Perhaps he is being showcased as potential trade material.
“You like that” Kirk Cousins and his agent refused to even negotiate with Bruce Allen and the Redskins. Cousins will play this year for the $24 million franchise tag. The Redskins brass is thoroughly confused and rightly so.
By the way Aaron Judge is 1-19 since the Home Run Derby and All Star game.
