Terps Shoot 54% But Lose to Duke 93-84—Audio

williams-after-duke-loss.WMA  Despite their strongest offensive performance of the year, the Terrapins squandered a 9 point halftime lead and and fell to the #3 Blue Devils.  Bambale Osby scored 20 and had 15 rebounds in perhaps the best effort of his collegiate career. Early in the game Maryland pounded the ball inside for repeated easy baskets by Gist and Osby. Again James Gist played like the senior leader he has become and led the Terps with 26 points. James drew tremendous praise from Coach K—audio.coach-k-on-terps-and-gist.WMA  The turnover battle proved too costly for the Terps as 22 to’s turned into 29 Duke points.  James Gist reflected on the Duke rivalry and his new one-two punch with Bambale in the next audio. gist-on-duke.WMA  Maryland falls to 2-3 in the ACC and 12-8 overall.
