Terps Fall to BC 71-68 and Fall out of NCAAs—UMBC Upsets Men’s Lacrosse 9-8 in 3rd OT

Yes it has taken me a day to recover from the Terps collapse against BC.  Enough has been said, and disappointment reigns supreme.  As a guy who loves the Terps, all I can do is say next year will come sooner then you think and hopefully Sean Mosley, Gus Gilchrist and this year’s underclassmen can find those extra wins that were needed.  The biggest potential loss I fear would be if Greivis opts out for the pros, whether in his homeland, Europe, or maybe even the NBA.  Whatever you think of his game, upper level scouts are impressed. All fans in Terp nation wish the best for James Gist as well as Bambale.  Look fo rJames to go in the middle of the 2nd round of the NBA draft. In other Terps news, Maryland Wrestling Coach Pat Santoro after guiding the Terps to their first ACC Championship since 1973, signed an extension through 2013.  The lady Bball Terps await their seeding in the NCAA as they attempt to win their 2nd Championship in 3 years.  Terp Talk will be on the air this Monday night at 8PM and then resume the normal Thursday 7PM schedule through the summer.
