The recruiting situation finally shined in Maryland’s favor as Sean Mosley, Baltimore’s Player of the Year is now a Terrapin. Sean will step right into the rotation of this team,bringing his toughness and leadership along with him. In the Old Spice Classic, Maryland has drawn Michigan State as its 1st opponent on Nov. 27.
The Orioles outlasted the Yankees 7-6 again behind the incredible hitting of Aubrey Huff. According to GM Andy MacPhail, it appears no last minute trades will occur. I am shocked by this as Sherrill and Huff are certainly at the top of their games yet the Orioles are destined for 4th or 5th place. It looks like Mark Teixeira will sign a long term deal with the Angels thus ending the hopes of all Baltimoreans.
Starting right tackle Adam Terry apparently has suffered a serious injury during practice Tuesday. The Ravens are thin on the O line and this injury will probably cause a quick entrance into the free agent market.
