terps Struggle to 14-7 Win Over “Tough” Delaware

Just Win Baby!!!!  Behind a tremendous perfoormance by the offensive line and the entire defense, Maryland held on to 7 point decision.  DaRel Scott rushed for 197 yds and Darrius Heward Bey contributed 90 all purpose yards leading the Terps to its Opening Day win.Weaknesses—pass rush and above all field goal kicking as Egekeze missed 3 field goals that would have made the win much easier.  Steffey had some early drives that resulted in missed FGs .Both Turner and Josh Portis appeared briefly in relief roles but failed to deliver.  I had talked on Terp Talk last Wednesday that the inconstituency ogf the the kicking game might come back to haunt the Terps. just some grades from me–
