The timing of this announcement is very curious, Here is some speculation.

1—Most experts believe that Greivis is gone either to the NBA or Europe. 

2–The Henry brothers canceled their trip to Kentucky thus leading to speculation that a Kansas commitment is on the way.

3– Lance’s dad has said repeatedly that he wants to find out exactly what Greivis intends to do.

4– Vinson is out of the picture though many believe he never considered Maryland.

5- Braxton is supposedly leaving Maryland. So along with Greivis’ departure this opens up 2 spots. 

6–If Lance is ever going to come Terrapin way it would be after Greivis’ announcement.

7–This could all be over by Saturday.  Stay tuned!!!
