    Maryland football – loses another one to Penn State

    Nittany Lions snare highly-sought Adrian Coxson
    Receiver Adrian Coxson, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound prospect from Baltimore City College High (Baltimore, Md.), has become the third Class of 2010 pledge for Penn State.

    Coxson also holds scholarship offers from Michigan, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Boston College, Maryland, Georgia and Florida, among others.

    He told ESPN affiliate Web site NittanyNetwork.com after a visit to campus over the weekend, “It was great. I loved it. I liked the people and the fans. I just thought everything was great.”

    As a junior, Coxson had 40 receptions for 987 yards (24.7 average) and 12 touchdowns. He also averaged 23 yards per punt return.
