When you shoot 35% from the field, go 2-14 from the 3 point line and shoot 17-31 from the foul line, rest assured you will not win the game. Bowie, Hayes, Mosley , and Greivis had the looks but could not convert. There is no panic, it’s just 1 game, and the good thing about this tournament is that a win tomorrow night will shake this game from our minds. Greivis though finishing with 19 points just is not sharp offensively yet. The Terps really missed the hops and enthusiasm of Dino who is out for the next 3 games. Jordan and james Padgett played very well for the Terps combining for 13 points and 14 rebounds. THAT IS VERY ENCOURAGING. Yancy Gates (17) , Deaonta Vaughn (16) and Lance (Born Ready) Stephenson (11) led the way for Cinci.

I can’t believe people can’t see how much better this team will be once they finally replace Vasquez. He might be one of the worst shooters in MD history.
Take notice, the 4-0 start when he was only shooting 5 or 6 times, then, he gets into his old ways where he is shooting 5 of 18, and 0-5 from 3.
They will never win with him.
Gary has always had his teams play great defense, but MAN do they suck offensively, especially in the half court.

Typical early embarrassing loss for the Terps. Seems to happen every year, but if they bounce back today, no harm done. Hopefully they begin to learn how to win when things don’t go their way early, which will happen a lot in ACC play.
Vasquez still looks uncomfortable and hopefully he’ll find his shot soon. The rest of his game looks fine.
Let’s go Terps, take down the badgers, and then we can all enjoy our Thanksgiving!
