Wisconsin 78 Terps 69—NO NEED TO PANIC!!!!

In the NBA Greivis Vasquez might be a point guard but on the Maryland Terrapins  the team could be better off if Eric returns to do the bulk of the work at PG.The offense just seems out of sync. Perhaps shot selection would imrove. Look–it’s early and lets hope a big upgrade to the team will be the return of  Dino Gregory next Saturday.

Of course its time to Panic. This team can’t beat anyone from a major conference. This was an embarassing tourney.
“We got snubbed for the top 25”. What a joke. This team is no more a top 25 team than Towson.
GV is the center of the team and he just isn’t that good.
It all goes back to our players, just are not as good as we all think they are. OBVIOUSLY!

note to ryan. my guess is when md went on a little losing streak in 2002 you gave up on them but yet they wound up winning the ncaa championship. no the team did not play well this week. but we have a long way to go.

Here’s what I would like to see from the Terps. Have Hayes run the offense in the half court. Vasquez handles the ball great on the break but not so well in the half court. Vasquez moves without the ball better than Eric. Vasquez is very effective running that little curl for the floating one hander in the lane in the half court. Run more plays for Padgett in the low post. The freshman has showed good foowork and back to the basket moves. Get Goins some minutes. We need some length on the inside to help out plus i think he can be a good shot-blocker. Like to see Jordan Williams show more aggressiveness going to the basket.
