Certainly one of the best games ever at Comcast. The Terps move to 9-3 in the ACC and let there be no doubt –we will be in the top 25 on Monday.

Derrick Favors convinced me today that he is the #1 choice in the NBA lottery not John Wall. Favors finished with 21 points and 18 rebounds in a game that elevated his NBA status. There was virtually no stopping him.
Though Gray denied that this game was any more physical then usual, it certainly seemed like a war. Georgia Tech kept bringing bigs and was very physical with Greivis. As usual Greivis finished stron with 18 points. 8 assists, and 5 rebounds. Greivis passed the 200 point plateau but was only interested in talking about the victory afterwards. Greivis Gtech

Hewitt pressed from the 1st possession to the last in an attempt to tinker with the Terps’m transition game. yet the Terrapins manage to come up with 76 points.Scot Van pely and Steve Bischotti were in the house tonight.
I am stretching my brain to think of the last –last second shot at home to snatch victory from defeat.

“We probably played our best game of the season. I told the guys, the only thing that would be disappointing out of this game is if we don’t come out and have a good practice in preparation for Boston College on Saturday. We’re playing our best basketball at the right time of the year, but we were just a little unlucky today.I was hoping that the shot that Greivis [Vasquez] took was going to be our lucky break. We haven’t caught many breaks in the last couple of years, but the thing I’m proud about with our guys is that they come back and they keep battling. We did everything you’re supposed to do against a team that’s better than anybody in our league with the exception of Duke. I think we’re on the verge of something big.”
