All latecomers to the Greivis bandwagon are welcome. I have been pitching the abilities of Senor Vasquez even during his early season slump. This honor is secondary to all that he has done for the Terrapins this year. But here are a few supporting reasons.
–John Wall is surrounded by 1st round NBA picks (Cousins and Patterson). Furthermore, he is but a Freshman. Have Wall switch places with Greivis–would Maryland be 11-3 in the conference—I doubt it!!! Would Kentucky’s record be just as good , if not better.
—Name any player who has had as big an impact on his team this year. A case could be made for James Anderson from Oklahoma State.
—Greivis stats across the board are incredible.
—Greivis has made every one on the team a better player.
—His attitude and spirit for the game are unmatched. He deflects the incredible abuse he receives on the road, never complaining or whining.
—If I had a vote it surely would be for Senor Vasquez!!!
