24 hours after THE GAME:

Down the wire this was a true team effort. The guy who really stood out was Jordan Williams. It’s unusual for a Freshman to do everything right at crunch time but he did. A put back lay up, tough defense, a blocked shot and making free throws. Every game, Jordan gets better. His future is unlimited.

Eric Hayes was his usual stoic self after the game. He is unflappable and this certainly yields dividends in his play.

The final 2 minutes of the game were very unusual in that both teams were down to 1 timeout and the game literally just played on without the usual endless fouling. I watched most of the ESPN coverage and liked everyone told me it was excellent–fair and balanced probably because Dookie V was absent.
