Glad to get home early after Friday night’s loss. As I have thought about the game more, I feel better then I did . Why?
—Landon came out of his scoring slump. Remember his effort has never been lacking.
—The effort in the 2nd half was superb for the Terps. Georgia Tech was befuddled— taken out of its game. If the Terps ever got a lead in this game, Tech would have wilted away.
—Somebody please expain why there shouldn’t be 31 more teams in the dance. Great basketball games are the best no matter what the final motives are. Why exclude a derving at large team because low ranked teams win conference tournaments.
—Maryland unfairly has probably fallen to a 6 seed and is earmarked for a travel out West according to Bracketology and Joe Lunardi.The conference tournament has proven how excellent the Terps 13-3 regular season record was.
—Coach K called Greensboro a neutral site . Watch how neutral it is on Sunday as Duke will fill the auditorium. By the Coach K –do you think Duke needs you to be its newest cheerleader.
—I will be at Comcast tonight when the brackets are announced and will report tomorrow night.
—I left my house 5 in the morning on Friday and returned yesterday about 3. Road trips are tough because it’s either elevation or depression. yesterday’s was no exception except I will label it Anticipation.
