This pic came from a UVA fanatic but to me it is still unclear as to whether or not Ryan Young’s foot was on the line. After watching the replay over and over , I can’t tell about the left foot–the right foot was clearly safe. It is funny how no one from UVA complained that Young was in the crease.
The real story here is how will the Terps deal with a 2nd straight heartbreaking defeat to the Cavs. Last year it seemed to turn the season the wrong way. I do believe that this years team might have gained from the great comeback. Three crucial games are ahead–this Sat vs Navy , the Hopkins at M&T Bank and then Round one of the ACC tournament.

as far as the replay, you are correct. you can’t tell if there was a violation or not. but seeing the picture, there is no doubt, no doubt, let me say it one more time, no doubt the foot was on and over the line. the ref made the right call. get over it. we lost. of course, bruce, who knows…maybe this is trick photography. maybe zapuder took the picture. anyone not familiar with zapuder needs to get a life. or a least google the name to see why this reference was made. and at that point you need to get a life because you don’t know much about american history.
