Bruce Campbell (Oakland), Nolan Carroll (Miami) Drafted —4 Terps Sign Free Agent Contracts

Former Terrapins Bruce Campbell and Nolan Carroll were selected during Saturday’s NFL Draft and four of their teammates will try and join them on rosters next season.

Offensive lineman Phil Costa (Dallas Cowboys), defensive lineman Travis Ivey (Miami Dolphins), running back Cory Jackson (San Diego Chargers) and defensive back Terrell Skinner (Minnesota Vikings) each signed free agent deals with NFL teams, according to the players.  A two-time Academic All-Atlantic Coast Conference performer, Costa played in 40 career games, starting 30, including all 12 last season at center.  Ivey (pictured above), who played in the 2010 Texas vs. the Nation all-star game, served as a formidable run-stopper from his tackle position. He played in 32 career games and started all 12 last season.  from umterps.com
