Forget everything else that has happened in the recent soccer past, in arguably the Biggest US soccer game ever, the guy we expected to come through did just that. #10 Landon Donovan, maligned over the years for disappearing in the crucial game put all the naysayers to rest as he set up and then followed up on the perhaps the biggest goal in US history. Hats off to Coach Bob Bradley for his defensive replacements that produced the first US shutout in 12 games. Next up: Ghana on Saturday.
