IMG_0005The Maryland field hockey team, ranked No. 2 in the latest Kookaburra / NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll, opened its Atlantic Coast Conference slate with a 4-2 win Saturday over No. 11 Boston College. Senior Katie O’Donnell broke the ACC’s career points record in the first half with an assist. Freshman Jill Witmer scored twice for the Terps.
