i can’t recall anyone claiming cities like miami, tampa even atlanta as great sports towns. teams were placed in these cities because of theri growing population base. however many rsidents come from”somewhere else” and follow their former home town teams. plus there is a lack of history and tradition for the teams in the south. college football, nascar and canasta and the fans favorites in the south.
not easy spelling and typing well at 4:30 in the morning. i’m going hunting this morning. i hunt squirrels. i get in my car and run ’em over. then i mount my catch on the fender of my car and drive arounf exhibiting my trophy.
