Fury is Growing over Potential Bowl Snubbing of Terrapins
If and when the final decision is made sending maryland to the Military Bowl on Sunday night, look for an explosion of anti ACC sentiments coming from many Terrapin fans. I plan on expounding about this on The Sports Maven this morning.
I went to Champs Sports Bowl in 2006 when MD beat Purdue. CSB closed the upper deck so all fans were in lower bowl. Lots of MD fans there. Definitely as many or more than Purdue. I think MD would travel well for matchup against ND, SF, Conn or WVU. I’m baffled as to why Meineke Car Care would want 6-6 Clemson (no quality non-conference wins). MD has never been to Charlotte bowl and fans and team would be pumped. Clemson, GT or BC should be playing ECU in Military RFK Bowl.
