In the South , signing day is bigger then NFL draft day. The Miami Herald and Sun Sentinel devote full sections to it. Alabama sits on pins and needles waiting for the verbals to make it official. Verbals are just that–Wednesday is the day. Here are the Verbal commits for Randy Edsall and the Terps

Anyone who still thinks Ralph deserved a better fate, just has to look at this list.
Matt Braken has a great article on it this week. This is a terrible recruiting class. Also, they kept NO ONE from MD area.
I hope that Randy can win enough, and should be able to, with who he has on the current roster, that will make him better in 2012. It is a sad, sad, state of affairs.
Gary needs help too. I strongly feel Hubert will NOT commit to MD. Well, if he gets offered from UCONN or UNC. Then, if they don’t offer him, and he picks MD, that says a lot right there.
I am starting to think Whittington might be better anyway.
Whittington really has a Joe Smith/Len Bias feel to him.
