Coach Danowski doesn’t believe the sea of red will effect his team. This will be a special game and could be a special weekend. Some facts:
The Terps and Duke split during the year. Both games were close though the Terps sort of dominated the 2nd half in Game 2.
Maybe I am too close to the program. I will leave the Press Box and blend in with the thousands of Maryland faithful in the crowd. i will nervously watch every second. I keep telling myself to calm down it’s only a game. But you know what, when you put your heart and soul into a team, if victory is not important then what is. For those of you who can’t believe I could be this into the lacrosse team, I want you to think about your emotions in the Ravens home game that produced the Polamalu play. As bad as I wanted that game, is as bad as I want this one. Tonight after a great dinner at the Costas Inn my thoughts were on Coach Tillman and the senior leaders. I feel their confidence, and the pride they will feel when they follow the state flag onto the Ravens turf. Yea, Harbaugh, Bishotti, Gary Williams, Governor O’Malley, Bobby Ehrlich, Police Commissioner Bealefeld, our mayor, Danny O’Brien, and thousands more will be in the house— any real Maryland fan will be there. This is our game, our state’s game, …Enough said. Let’s Get It On!!!!!
