Jordan Williams has slipped into the upper reaches of the 2nd round according to nbadraft.net. He could be a viable 2nd pick for the Wizards if he lasts that long. Jordan’s skill testing at the NBA combine was disappointing.
he would probably have to play power forward in the nba. runs the floor well, doesn’t jump well, didn’t show a lot of passing ability in college, no 15 footer, never showed he could put the ball on the floor effectively. quickness may be a concern. can he defend guys as big as he is that possess greater athleticism? ya know, he should have stayed another year and improved his skills.
The more reputable draftexpress.com has him at #16 in Round 2. I think if he’s going to make it in the league he’s going to have to be an undersized 5, he seems to slow to guard 4’s in teh NBA.
