Don’t blame this one on Kevin Gregg. I can’t blame him for destroying the sunflower seed collection. A big leaguer has to catch that fly ball in the 9th. Not only did he miss it but he bumbled it into a triple. Who was the official scorer? That ball was in his glove. Tampa made the defensive plays to stay in the game –the O’s didn’t. Defeat was assured when the tying run came in. Mark Reynolds went deep twice off of David Price moving him to 12 Homers and 35 RBI.

tough play. he had along run and the ball was fading away from him. catchable? yes. tough play , yes. o’s had opportunities but couldn’t get one more big hit. t bay made a couple of nice plays particularly in the outfield. upton made a great play on jones’ fly ball to deep left center
