Fan Appreciation Day Set for Saturday: Saturday’s practice, which will be held from 8:15 to 10:30 a.m. in Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium, is open to the public and will give Maryland football followers a close-up glimpse of the team. Terrapin fans are welcome to observe the practice in its entirety and gather autographs from players immediately following the session. Fans will also have an opportunity to select seats in the stadium for the 2011 season. Members of the Maryland Athletics Ticket office will be stationed at Gate I. Season tickets for this year’s seven-game home slate start as low as $130. Free parking is available on Saturday in Lot 1 and fans can access Byrd through Gate I. Uniform Unveiling to be Held Monday: Maryland Athletics will unveil new football uniforms, which were produced by Under Armour, Monday at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. This is an invitational-only event, but fans will be able to view it free through TerpsTV (http://www.umterps.com/allaccess/) beginning at 7:30 p.m. Many of the Maryland football players, along with head coach Randy Edsall, will participate in the fashion show-style unveiling.
