The NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse Committee has announced the University of Maryland as a host site for the 2013 Division I Men’s Lacrosse Quarterfinals.

“We’re proud to have this opportunity to showcase our facilities and outstanding institution to the lacrosse community and the nation,” said Maryland Director of Athletics Kevin Anderson. “Lacrosse is very important at the University of Maryland and to be able to bring this event back to Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium is a fantastic opportunity.”

   hope they have the synthetic turf field installed instead of having teams play in the dirt and mud at byrd. nothing like showing off dirt and mud for the fans around the country
