I knew this lockout was for real when I read that 21 of 30 NBA teams are in the red. The NFL lockout was a sham. It was just a means of squeezing the players. How in the world would an NFL team want to miss any of those enthralling ripoff exhibition games. The lockout ended abruptly as the dates approached. But it is different in Kobe Land. If you are a businessman it is easier not to play so money won’t be lost. The owners are just trying to break the player’s solidarity and maybe bust the union. Stern’s absurd threats are not being believed. Whty would you have to cance the Xmas games now —2 1/2 months ahead. Half of the NBA players have been playing ball all offseason. The whole thing makes me sick but I blame the owners 100%.
