#3Terps Play a ManDown But Escape #2 North Carolina With a 1-1 Tie as The Heels Tie The Game on Controversial HandBall

Being honest Maryland as thoroughly outplayed in the first half but tremendous play by the keeper, Will Swain kept the game at nil nil.

Maryland came to life scoring the go ahead go by John Stertzer and then narrowly missing 3 goals in rapid succession. With 30 minutes to go Carolina tied the game on a penalty kick after London Woodberry was called for a handball on a ball that hit him on the shoulder. So be it–these teams will meet again in the ACC Tournament.
