I will have much more to say about the Rose Bowl tomorrow. In the Fiesta, David Shaw who has had a great first year as Stanford’s head coach definitely played much too conservative in his final drive placing all the pressure on his freshman placekicker instead of using the clock and letting Andrew Luck march in or closer to the goal line. The kid had already missed a 40 yard FG and you just knew a hook or slice was coming. no matter the outcome it was a tremendous game with 2 special QB’s
