It’s getting near crunch time. In fact we are here. Coral Gables has never been a friendly site for the Terps. Since Miami’s entrance to the ACC i don’t believe the Terps have won there. That fact in and of itself is amazing —most of the times we have gone in as favorites. The arena does not provide the typical ACC edge. In fact usually have the arena is filled with Terrapin fans. Freddy will be there Wednesday night.
Like the Terps Miami is 13-7 overall and 3-3 in the ACC. Former George Mason Coach Jim Larrenega is the new head coach at the U. The U features 2 6’5 guards and big men maybe a little more polished then the Terps. This is a case where the Terps do have a return home match. I believe 9-no less then a 9-7 conference record will get the Terps into the dance. With 1 game left with Duke, 2 with Carolina and 2 with VA this game sort of becomes a must win. More tomorrow on the game.
