Maryland junior defender Harriet Tibble has been named the 2011 Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Scholar-Athlete of the Year and leads the sport’s All-ACC Academic team.
“Harriet consistently represents the best and the brightest in ACC field hockey. This academic honor coupled with a Smith School Business Degree (Marketing /International Business) will enable this English native to get a career anywhere in the world,” head coach Missy Meharg said. “On behalf of the Department of Athletics we are so proud of Hatty.”
