#11 Terrapin Nine Shuts Out Delaware 2-0 Moving to 10-1

Four Maryland pitchers combined for 14 strikeouts while holding Delaware to four hits and the Terps won their ninth straight with a 2-0 victory over the Blue Hens Tuesday afternoon.

Senior Michael Boyden, making his first start of the season, struck out a career-high nine in five innings, and relievers Charlie HaslupKorey Wacker and Jimmy Reed shut down Delaware the rest of the way.

Boyden (2-0) cruised through the first four frames, striking out the side in the second and setting down two by way of strikeout in the third and the fourth. Between a one-out walk in the first inning and another in the fifth, Boyden retired 12 in a row.
