For those of you who this headline seems a little fuzzy, here’s the info. In the MLL (Major Lacrosse Leaque) players from college are drafted before their Senior season begins. I haven’t figured out why yet. After watching Joe Cummings against Georgetown, GM Brian Reese pulled the trigger and traded forJoe.
Here’s the wire report: The movers and shakers of the MLL were at it again March 1 with a host of transactions amongst four teams, eight players and two draft picks. The Chesapeake Bayhawks acquired the draftee rights to Maryland senior attackman/middie Joe Cummings and an undisclosed 2013 MLL College Draft pick from the Rochester Rattlers in exchange for middie Steve Denapoli.
