The No. 5 Maryland women’s lacrosse team put together a stellar second-half rally to down No. 14 Boston College 16-10 Saturday at the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex.
Karri Ellen Johnson led all Maryland (7-2, 2-1 ACC) scorers with four goals. Junior Katie Schwarzmann and freshman Kelly McPartland each picked up a hat trick as the attack tallied more than 15 goals for the second straight game. After winning only one draw in the first half, the Terps dominated the category in the second half, winning the battle 13-6. The Terps held BC freshman sensation, Covie Stanwick, to just 1 late goal.
