Aaron Etchison and Alfredo Rodriguez had two hits each and three Terps had two-RBI games as Maryland used a balanced offensive attack to defeat George Washington 8-6 Tuesday night.
Eight of Maryland’s nine starters had a hit in the game, while K.J. Hockaday, Jordan Hageland Korey Wacker all drove in a pair of runs to help the Terps improve to 14-1 in non-conference games.
Starting pitcher David Carroll went four scoreless innings, allowing just two hits while striking out two, as Maryland (15-6) built an early lead.
