Karri Ellen Johnson scored five goals and Alex Aust dished four assists to lead the No. 3 Maryland women’s lacrosse team past Towson 13-3 Tuesday. All five of Johnson’s goals came in the first half and pushed the senior attacker’s mark to 215, five shy of No. 2 on the Terps’ career goals list. Aust has now tallied 15 points in the last three games. Maryland (10-2, 2-1 ACC) held Towson (6-3) to its lowest goal output this season The Terps put together arguably their best overall showing of the season, nailing 13 of the 26 shots they attempted on the night. Katie Schwarzmann tallied her fifth consecutive hat trick with a three second-half goals.
