For the second straight game the offense cranked out double-digit hits as Maryland recorded its largest margin of victory this season with a 16-4 win over St. John’s Wednesday afternoon. The Terps (17-9), who were coming off a 15-hit performance at Miami on Sunday, had a season-high 16 against a Red Storm team that had won nine of their last Hagel, Kyle Convissar, Ryan Holland, K.J. Hockaday and Alfredo Rodriguez led the way with two hits apiece. Rodriguez, who leads the team with 19 RBIs, had four against St. John’s (13-11) including a three-run home run.
